The Rosebud Homestead

Arts Foundation

A place to hear your Soul Song & tell a new Story

Roscoe, Montana

“ It is a human need to be told stories. the more we are governed by idiots and have no control over our destinies, the more we need to tell stories to each other about who we are, why we are, where we come from and what might be possible.”

- Alan Rickman

The Artist Residence

T H E I N T E N T I O N

  • This foundation will support one’s Soul propriety. It will be a place for artists and those who have misplaced their creative spirit along the way and are ready to search and listen.

  • The barn will nurture those in need of Rest and Reset. A means to encountering a new template if you will.

  • This land sits on a quiet and powerful vortex surrounded by the Beartooth Mountains which are the oldest rocks in the world;

  • This place is deafening, humbling and revealing.

“ The longer I live, the more deeply I learn that love - whether we call it friendship or family or romance - is the work of mirroring and magnifying each other’s light. Gentle work. Steadfast work. Life-saving work in those moments when life and shame and sorrow occlude our own light from our view, but there is still a clear-eyed loving person to beam it back. In our best moments, we are that person for another. ”

- James Baldwin
